conversations rock.

dear you,

within the past four days i've had the most amazing conversations with people.

1. megan: man. what a blessing to have her as my host-sister. one of the most authentic, non-threatening christians i've met. i could say more, but i'll leave it at that.
2. tiana: how comforting to know that halfway across the world someone feels the same as i about our new lives, faith, etc. i wish i could have coffee with her and talk about life.
3. emily: she... well, there's a reason she's such a good friend. i'm so glad she's not afraid to challenge my views and ask me hard questions.
4. mom & dad: aw. i'm just excited for them to come in a week. i miss the little things about them. mom's walk, dad's whistling....
5. kenan: though the years have separated us in more ways than one, he's still my big brother. and he's awesome and funny and experienced. i was reminded of how much i love him.
6. nanny & pa: they truly are my substitute grandparents while in australia. the more time i spend with them, the more i enjoy them. such quality people.
7. typo shop lady: from chicago, she's lived in canberra for 8 months. i've never met or seen her before today, but we chatted like old friends catching up. it was awesome.

what a good week, and it's only wednesday.
