host family

dear you,

the time has finally come: i'm moving into my host family's house on sunday afternoon...!
some of you have known this was part of the plans, but for those of you who didn't, i will explain in greater detail.

for the past four months i've been living at irene's place, an intentional community and discipleship program, with four other females. we were matched up with host-families from our church before we got here, and have spent many occasions with them, allowing time to get to know each other. for instance, over christmas many of us spent the holidays with our host-family. we are now moving out of irene's place and into separate houses in separate neighborhoods. we will be with them for three months, then return back to irene's place to finish out our time in australia.

my host family's called the williams. allen and sue are both retired after spending many years in their respectable careers. megan, their daughter, is about to start her final year of university. they live in weston creek, one of the suburbs, which is a 15 minute drive from my current house. they're a great family and i'm looking forward to belonging to them. :)

ok. i'm off to pack.

sincerely,
shae
