dear you,

i'm currently stationed at a place called jpusa (ja-pu-sa), or jesus people usa to you outsiders. it's an old hotel turned apartment building in uptown....a few miles north of downtown chicago. it's this place that has 450 residents who live, eat, and worship together every day. kids play together, teens skate together, adults grow together. a really awesome sense of community, i'd say.

i'm living in a flat with 17 other participants (13 girls, 4 guys) also doing radical journey. it. is. cramped.

i sleep in a small room with seven other girls plus their belongings. it. is. cramped.

i share one toilet, one sink, and one shower with these seven ladies. it. is. cramped.

i will soon be in australia. for ten months. it. is. worth. it.
